Kim Victoria Cattrall, born August 21, 1956 in London, is an British and Canadian actress from Canada and the UK. Her most well-known role was as Samantha Jones on the HBO show Sex and the City. In this role, she was awarded the Golden Globe Award for 2002 for the Best Supporting Female actor. Samantha Jones reprised her role in the film Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010). Her leading roles include Police Academy, Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the 1980s. Kim Cattrall's performance in the HBO TV show Sex & the City is one of the most memorable. The character Samantha Jones played by noted actress Cattrall was an important moment for her career. The sitcom helped make Cattrall a star not just among viewers in the area and internationally. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Her most recognizable role was from the film comedy drama La Dolce Vita. The film was both a critical and commercial hit and was awarded it the Golden Palm and Oscar at Cannes Film Festival 1960. She was born in Sweden's Skane and did modeling before she began acting. She was eventually crowned the Miss Sweden contest. When she moved to the US she began to appear in various films, acting in minor roles. In the film Abbott and Costello Go to Mars she was credited as being a Venusian. In the following year, she won the Golden Globe award in the Most Promising Newcomer category, after appearing in the film Blood Alley.
